Eros Xu RuiHan was a former office executive and restaurant-chain owner. His business and family were laid in ruins during the September 21, 1999 earthquake in Taiwan. His entire life seemed to have fallen into a dark bottomless pit…
However, above encounters had strengthened Eros' will power. Even as he went through a stage of desperation, deep in his heart, Eros was waiting for the day to restore his life and business. But he looked around and found no opportunity. Not long after, his opportunity came and he was ready to seize it. One day, Eros came to know BWL by coincidence. He started to use BWL's excellent products and experience their amazing benefits. This was the first important step for Eros to begin a partnership and grow his business network in BWL.

After meeting with the Founders, Eros was convinced of BWL's bright future. He also took confidence in the fact that BWL is the first and only direct selling company listed in the Singapore Exchange Main Board. Eros saw a solid foundation at BWL with which he could build a sustainable and everlasting business.
Upon his return to Taiwan, Eros became more focused on his BWL business and began to grow his customer base. However, the hard times were not over. He was struggling to start up a business all by himself. He lacked the resources and did not know how to recruit new customers. Nevertheless, Eros persevered, working double harder to overcome his challenges. Finally, he was able to grow and develop his own team. At the same time, with constant encouragement from Dr. Dora, Eros decided to explore new growth opportunities in China.
"When I look back on those days, it was hard to believe I would ever make it in this business. I started on my own and was not making much. On the one hand, I needed to take care of my Taiwan network, and on the other, to venture into a new market in China. The most difficult part was I run into great debt to fund these expansions." Eros said.
"I have been through many difficult times, but I persevered, believing in BWL and in my own ability to beat the odds. With focus on my mission and strong belief on my team, I persevered to drive and grow a successful business to this day."
During the period of pioneering, Eros walked alone. His dream to establish his own business once again was the driving force that kept his hopes up during these trying times. Where there is a will, there is a way. Eros' hard work and ability to leverage on the power of BWL's excellent products expanded his network with a solid foundation. Eros said, "After that catastrophic earthquake, I realized that the direct selling business is the only kind of business that will not be totally destroyed. When everything fell to the ground, it still had its branches spreading all over the world. It is a business that you can sustain and will sustain you, under any circumstances."
Eros' dictum in life: "A successful person keeps his feet working to make things happen, while the loser complains a lot, waiting for things to happen". What he had gone through has demonstrated his spirit of perseverance when meeting with obstacles.
