Guo Jia Fang has four younger brothers. As the eldest sister, she inherited her parents’ traits – honest, diligent and untiring. Unfortunately, she was diagnosed with a serious heart disease at age of twenty-three, and had two heart bypass operations.
Her eight years with BWL has earned her a nickname known as “an undaunted warrior”. For example, she could take a night train to a small town just to meet a potential customer. Her lack of sleep did not deter her from sitting at the doorstep before sunrise, and dozing off during her wait. Due to her poor memory, she always strives not to miss any training.
Jia Fang often claims that she is a slow learner and hence she has to go extra mile in what others could easily achieve. She is aware that with a bigger market comes a heavier responsibility. Hence, she always puts the needs of others before self. To her team members, she is a trusted leader who always delivers. Her unrelenting spirit has touched both her uplines in Singapore, Patsy Pek and Felicia Tan. They traveled from afar to China to lend her their support to develop the market.
Two years ago, Jia Fang’s health began to deteriorate. She had a poorer memory and tired easily. But she was determined not to succumb to her illness. Her ideals and the love that she had received from her teammates motivated her to carry on. Her team strove hand-in-hand with her and this had deepened her conviction.
Jia Fang has always been a respected and beloved leader in her team. She believes that integrity and gratitude are the most important principles in life. She walks the talk by always being sincere and down-to-earth.
She always says that man becomes great when he has a mission. She has the urgency to be recognized on stage, for she cannot afford to let her beloved ones continue their worries; and she does not want to be a burden to her children. Most importantly, she does not want to yield to illness. She has made it finally.
